LIGAMAX™ 5 Endoscopic Clip Applier

Use our LIGAMAX™ 5 Endoscopic Clip Applier for the ability to reduce incision size without compromising clip size or security. It delivers medium/large clips through 5mm and 10mm trocars for confident and precise ligation in a less invasive instrument. The LIGAMAX 5 Clip Applier may be used for cholecystectomies and a variety of other laparoscopic procedures.

For surgeons who prefer a 10mm clip applier, our LIGACLIP^® Endoscopic Rotating Multiple Clip Applier delivers 20 titanium clips that individually advance after each firing. Our multiple clip appliers come in Medium/Large, or Large clips. All clips provide lateral and transverse clip grooves on the inside surface of the clip.

The LIGAMAX™ 5 5mm Endoscopic Clip Applier is a sterile, single-patient-use instrument designed to provide ligation of tubular structures or vessels. Use it wherever a metal ligating clip is indicated through an appropriately-sized trocar.

Features include:

• Medium and large clip – applied through 5mm incision, 8.8mm closed clip length and on-vessel clip security for confident ligation. Instrument has patented lateral and transverse grooves and contains 15 titanium clips.
• Long, thin, angled jaws – providing excellent visibility beyond structures and outstanding access. The jaws passively collapse for smooth insertion through a 5mm trocar, and then spring back to open wide.
• Distal-tip closing – enables control and precise placement and can also partially form a clip to secure a cholangiogram catheter.
• 360º rotation knob/shaft – Ergonomic design for easy rotation and one-handed jaw orientation
